Chapter 8: Chat Blast
As the 5 heroes sat on the comfy sofas, they decided to watch a movie as Ulrich and the two rescued maidens unlock the next fandom.
Andrew: I’m in the mood of watching a movie. Let’s see what’s on.
Kiki: Hey look, this one has you in it Rod.
But Rod wasn’t impressed.
Rod: Oh god, that one?!
Sabrina: What’s wrong?

They watched the movie and it showed Rod portrayed as a cowardly male damsel in distress and needed rescuing from a big strong hero. Rod’s face turned red with embarrassment.
Sabrina: You don’t seem happy with the way you’re portrayed Rod. Are you ok?
Rod: Not really. Why do so many people think I’m a coward! Why must I be portrayed as weak and defenceless! Why does everyone think I’m a damsel in distress! Why do I need to be saved all the freaking time?!
Adam watched Rod rant about how people think he’s cowardly. He felt bad because of the previous adventure he wrote, he made him out of character.
Adam: *thinking to himself* Oh dear. What have I done? I ruined my own best friend’s reputation. How could I do such a thing? *speaking* Just a second please.
Adam left and spoke to Prince Ulrich and the Maidens about what had happened.

The 5 heroes walked around the town and saw some people talking about Ricardo, Rod’s rival and main villain of his fandom.

Adam remained quiet. Waiting to fix Rod’s reputation.

A giant TV Screen came on with Ricardo on it. The heroes turned back and shut their eyes. Ricardo’s eyes began to glow purple, and behind him, the background turned to that of a swirling spiral. Those who saw it went into trance.
Ricardo: Obey me! I am your hero! You love me! You want me! Obey Ricardo! Destroy Rodolfo! Repeat after me! Obey Ricardo, DESTROY RODOLFO!
Crowd: *mesmerized* Obey Ricardo, Destroy Rodolfo!
Ricardo: Obey Ricardo, DESTROY RODOLFO!
The enslaved citizens noticed Rod and chased after him, but Rod decided to fight back and become
Armarod
And as his Mortal Kombat persona, Armarod fought the enslaved citizens.
The rest of Rod’s friends shut their eyes as Ricardo attempted to enslave them.
Ricardo: Obery Ricardo, DESTROY RODOLFO!
Adam: NO! ROD IS A GOD! RIC IS A PRICK!
By picking up a stone, Adam picked it up, and trying to avoid Ricardo’s hypnosis, he threw the stone at the television screen. It smashed, made a hole and smoke came out.
Sabrina: Adam, why did you do that for? We’re going to be in trouble now!
And police cars chased after the 5 heroes.
Adam: Not if we can help it!
And 5 of them flashed and become

Bromigo (Powerpuff
Baoppu (Powerpuff)
Beanie (Powerpuff)
Brainiac (Powerpuff)
And they became their powerpuff personas. They flew away to get away from the police cars and made their way to the abandoned Talk Boom studios to confront Ric. They found the same warp pipe that took them to the Talk Boom Studios.
When they got there, they returned as their normal selves.
Adam: Quick! That way!
Rod: Just watch out for Ric on screen!
Suddenly, the TV screen turned on. The 5 heroes shut their eyes and turned back. Ricardo was on the screen, attempting to brainwash them.
Ricardo: You are getting veeeeeery greedy!
Adam: No! No I’m not!
Rod: Me neither!
Kiki: Not me!
Sabrina: Or me,
Andrew: And not me either!
Ricardo: You are me, Ricardo! You are very handsome!
Adam: Well I am, not you!
Rod: Same here!
Andrew: Ditto!
Ricardo: You have amazing powers! Turn to stone, ice, diamond, win over Rodo-fail!

Adam picked up another stone, while still shutting his eyes.

Adam threw the stone at the TV screen, which smashed it, and making Ricardo disappear.
Rod: Phew! That sure was a close one. Great move Adam!
Andrew: Well let’s free everyone from Ric’s bonds and you may be alright.
The heroes walk through the studios with Rod in front.
Rod: Stand back!
A trap door next to them opened and none of them fall into it.
Rod: Oh no! Not this time! I’m no coward!
The 5 heroes passed the trap door and another door opened, which were Rufus, Ivan and Jared in their enslaved selves like in the past.
Ricardo: Drat! We failed to capture Rodo-fail and his friends! Rufus, Ivan, Jared, bring them to me! We’ll make them one of us!
Rufus: Yes Master!
Adam: I sense another fight coming up.

The heroes flashed and became

Jared chases after Adam, which he ran and ran until Jared became exhausted. Adam then jumped and stomped his head.
Baoppu flew and punched Rufus in the face. Ivan used his laser gun to blast lasers at the Invisible Angel, but disappeared and reappeared at the same time.
The Mighty Lighting was also chased by Jared, but he used his lightning attacks from his horns to zap him.
Rufus picked up a bench and threw it at Adam Legend. Adam barely protected himself with his fists and wristcuffs. Andrew threw cutters at Rufus.
Ivan fought the girls with his gadgets, but the invisible angel fired a beam of light and Baoppu flew and pummeled him.
When Adam Legend tried to jump on Jared’s head, he extended his hair like spikes, so he tried to jump to avoid them, but thanks to Andrew, his used a sword to cut off his hair, making it easier for Adam to jump on him.
The Invisible Angel charged herself and created a blinding light at the 3 enslaved former minions of Ric.
Jared: Ooooh! Pretty…..
Rufus: I can’t see!
Ivan got out a 3DS and face raider type enemies attacked.
Adam Legend: Aaaaah! Pesky face raider things! Eww! Don’t kiss me!
Adam leaped into the air and created a fiery shockwave, which got rid of the face raiders.
With the 3 minions blinded, Andrew drew out a lasso and tied them out. Adam finished them off with 3 balls of light and threw them from Ric’s bonds.
Adam: Good battle!
Andrew untied the 3 former minions.
Rufus: Oh my! Where are we? Oh hello Rod!
Rod: Hi! Can you tell us where Ricardo is?
Rufus: He’s in that room right over there. Would you like us to come in and aid you in battle?
Rod: No thank you. I’m sure we can manage.
Rufus: Very well. Good luck then!
Rufus, Ivan and Jared left the Talk Boom studios and the 5 heroes, still in their forms, were ready to confront Ric.
They entered the room where Ricardo was, and he was ready to fight them himself.

He stabbed Ricardo with his Wolverine Claws, which cancelled his brainwashing powers permanently.

Without anybody expecting it, Ricardo had the Yresyr and he used it on Adam, Kiki, Sabrina and Andrew and they disappeared into thin air. Rod’s eyes widened.
Mighty Lightning: My…My friends! You demon! What have you done?!
Ricardo: I Yresyed them, and you’re next!

Ricardo began the battle by attempting to Yresye Rod, but he swiftly avoided the attack by firing bolts of lightning at him.
Ric ate a rock taco and became.

Ric: Now your lightning attacks have no effect on me!
Mighty Lightning: We’ll see about that!
And he flashed and became
Armarod
Ric attempted to slam his fists on Armarod, but he swiftly jumped out of the way. Ric then attempted to throw a boulder at him. Armarod turned his fist into a giant spiked mace and smashed the boulder, then smashed Ric with it too.
Armarod then used his teleport drop ability on Ric and impales him with his spiked boots.
Ric changed back, held out an icy taco and became
Ice-Shardo
Rod flashed and became
Burrito (Powerpuff)
Ricardo: Oh look at that! Rod thinks he can beat me as a 3 year old child!
Burrito: And you look like a ripoff of Adam’s rival too!
Ric blasted Burrito with his icy breath and encased him in a block of ice, but Burrito broke free and he flew and punched Ric in the face. He then used his laser eyes attack.
Ric changed back and started throwing chairs at Burrito, but he avoided each one.
Burrito pummelled Ric, but he grabbed a sparkly taco and became
Diamondo
Ric was at his most invincible yet. He became much faster and stronger for Burrito to beat.
Already he flew a massive fist at Burrito which he couldn’t avoid and sent him flying to a wall.
Rod had another plan. He flashed and became
JUMP Rod
Rod in his JUMP form had the ability to shapeshift and he hoped that will help him defeat his rival.
Ric was about to deliver a magical punch until Rod shrunk into a caterpillar to avoid the attack, so Ric tried to squash him, but Rod became an elephant and sat on him, but Ric in his diamond form lifted him without breaking a sweat, so Rod became a scorpion, which made Ric scream like a little girl and drop him. Rod chuckled and became an even bigger scorpion.
Ric: You are starting to take the piss now! Prepare to be yresyed Rodo-fail!
Rod realized Ricardo is more powerful with the Yresyr so he became Link and slashed the Yresyr with his master sword, which caused it to short-circuit and that allowed Adam, Andrew, Kiki and Sabrina to return.
Andrew: Oh! We’re back!
Sabrina: And look, Rod is fighting Ric!
Adam: And by the looks of it, I think he’s ready to finish him off!
Kiki: I hope he suffers horribly!
Ricardo was feeling giddy, so Rod became Donkey Kong and slammed his fist to him. He then finished him by becoming a cage and kept him locked up until Ricardo was found by the police and arrested.
Ricardo: I’ll get you for this Rod!
And Ric was taken away to prison. Bolts of lightning surrounded Rod to celebrate his victory.
Andrew: Great battle bromigo! You sure showed him!
Rod: Indeed I did! How dare everyone think I’m a coward! Now I showed them I am hardcore!
Adam was now ready to confess the truth.
Adam: Um, Rod, I have something to say. It was my fault everyone thought you were a coward and a male damsel in distress. I was the one who written this little ordeal where Ric captured you. I’m sorry Rod. I didn’t mean to ruin your reputation. I’m so sorry!
Rod gave Adam a very warm smile.
Rod: I forgive you Adam. Listen, I had a much worse reputation in the past. Before Chat Blast and before you guys even befriended me, I was terrible! I made Ric look cute and cuddly so you haven’t completely screwed it up.
Adam: I know but I made you completely out of character, so this is why we went back in time so I could fix the past.
Rod: I see, well Adam, please don’t sweat it no more. I said I forgiven you so no need to worry anymore.
Adam: The reason I did this adventure was because I really didn’t like how Ricardo bullied you and I just wanted to stick up for you.
Rod: I am very grateful that you have remained my friend for years and I’m glad you were there for me when Ric gave me trouble. Indeed true friends do stick up for each other, but the next time Ric gives me trouble, let me handle it next time ok. Usually the past can’t be fixed, but you helped me fix it so thank you.

Andrew: Yeah it wasn’t that big of a deal. It could have happened to any of us you know. I even made Rod out of character at one point in my Psycho Psychiatrist series so you’re not the only one. That’s ironic isn’t it. You wouldn’t think I would make my own bromigo out of character.

Ric’s eyes glew purple and attempted to brainwash the other four heroes.
Ricardo: Look into my eyes Rod’s friends! Obey Ricardo! Destroy Rodolfo!
Adam: Oh get stuffed!
He stabbed Ricardo with his Wolverine Claws, which cancelled his brainwashing powers permanently.
Ricardo: Ow!! My eyes! You son of a bitch! You could have blinded me!
Adam: I wish I did!
Ricardo: You’ll pay for this!!
Without anybody expecting it, Ricardo had the Yresyr and he used it on Adam, Kiki, Sabrina and Andrew and they disappeared into thin air. Rod’s eyes widened.
Mighty Lightning: My…My friends! You demon! What have you done?!
Ricardo: I Yresyed them, and you’re next!
BOSS: Ricardo
Ricardo began the battle by attempting to Yresye Rod, but he swiftly avoided the attack by firing bolts of lightning at him.
Ric ate a rock taco and became.
Rock-Hardo
Ric: Now your lightning attacks have no effect on me!
Mighty Lightning: We’ll see about that!
And he flashed and became
Armarod
Ric attempted to slam his fists on Armarod, but he swiftly jumped out of the way. Ric then attempted to throw a boulder at him. Armarod turned his fist into a giant spiked mace and smashed the boulder, then smashed Ric with it too.
Armarod then used his teleport drop ability on Ric and impales him with his spiked boots.
Ric changed back, held out an icy taco and became
Ice-Shardo
Rod flashed and became
Burrito (Powerpuff)
Ricardo: Oh look at that! Rod thinks he can beat me as a 3 year old child!
Burrito: And you look like a ripoff of Adam’s rival too!
Ric blasted Burrito with his icy breath and encased him in a block of ice, but Burrito broke free and he flew and punched Ric in the face. He then used his laser eyes attack.
Ric changed back and started throwing chairs at Burrito, but he avoided each one.
Burrito pummelled Ric, but he grabbed a sparkly taco and became
Diamondo
Ric was at his most invincible yet. He became much faster and stronger for Burrito to beat.
Already he flew a massive fist at Burrito which he couldn’t avoid and sent him flying to a wall.
Rod had another plan. He flashed and became
JUMP Rod
Rod in his JUMP form had the ability to shapeshift and he hoped that will help him defeat his rival.
Ric was about to deliver a magical punch until Rod shrunk into a caterpillar to avoid the attack, so Ric tried to squash him, but Rod became an elephant and sat on him, but Ric in his diamond form lifted him without breaking a sweat, so Rod became a scorpion, which made Ric scream like a little girl and drop him. Rod chuckled and became an even bigger scorpion.
Ric: You are starting to take the piss now! Prepare to be yresyed Rodo-fail!
Rod realized Ricardo is more powerful with the Yresyr so he became Link and slashed the Yresyr with his master sword, which caused it to short-circuit and that allowed Adam, Andrew, Kiki and Sabrina to return.
Andrew: Oh! We’re back!
Sabrina: And look, Rod is fighting Ric!
Adam: And by the looks of it, I think he’s ready to finish him off!
Kiki: I hope he suffers horribly!
Ricardo was feeling giddy, so Rod became Donkey Kong and slammed his fist to him. He then finished him by becoming a cage and kept him locked up until Ricardo was found by the police and arrested.
Ricardo: I’ll get you for this Rod!
And Ric was taken away to prison. Bolts of lightning surrounded Rod to celebrate his victory.
Andrew: Great battle bromigo! You sure showed him!
Rod: Indeed I did! How dare everyone think I’m a coward! Now I showed them I am hardcore!
Adam was now ready to confess the truth.
Adam: Um, Rod, I have something to say. It was my fault everyone thought you were a coward and a male damsel in distress. I was the one who written this little ordeal where Ric captured you. I’m sorry Rod. I didn’t mean to ruin your reputation. I’m so sorry!
Rod gave Adam a very warm smile.
Rod: I forgive you Adam. Listen, I had a much worse reputation in the past. Before Chat Blast and before you guys even befriended me, I was terrible! I made Ric look cute and cuddly so you haven’t completely screwed it up.
Adam: I know but I made you completely out of character, so this is why we went back in time so I could fix the past.
Rod: I see, well Adam, please don’t sweat it no more. I said I forgiven you so no need to worry anymore.
Adam: The reason I did this adventure was because I really didn’t like how Ricardo bullied you and I just wanted to stick up for you.
Rod: I am very grateful that you have remained my friend for years and I’m glad you were there for me when Ric gave me trouble. Indeed true friends do stick up for each other, but the next time Ric gives me trouble, let me handle it next time ok. Usually the past can’t be fixed, but you helped me fix it so thank you.
Rod gave Adam a handshake and a pat on the back.
Andrew: Yeah it wasn’t that big of a deal. It could have happened to any of us you know. I even made Rod out of character at one point in my Psycho Psychiatrist series so you’re not the only one. That’s ironic isn’t it. You wouldn’t think I would make my own bromigo out of character.
Sabrina: Yes. You just did a very good thing that went horribly wrong that’s all.
Kiki: I gotta ask you Rod, why did you let Ric live? He deserves to die brutally after the things he does to you!
Rod: You’re going to think I am absolutely bonkers for telling you this but he is essential to my fandom.
Kiki: Essential?
Rod: If you think about it, if I kill Ric off or if I reform him, how can I make my fandom entertaining? Who can I fight? If my fandom was all happiness, sunshine, rainbows and mother goose nursery rhymes, would you be entertained?
Kiki: Uhh, not really…
Rod: Well that’s the reason why I need Ric here. Do you all see the logic?
Sabrina: Yes we do.
Adam: Speaking of Ric, how did he get the Yresyr that time? He never had it in our time.
Rod: I don’t know. I think Night Terror might have been responsible for it. He too must have rewritten the past, just like we have. Well our little ordeal is over. Let’s go back!
So the 5 friends returned to Ulrich’s castle where he and the maidens were.
Ulrich: So Adam, did you manage to solve your little problem?
Adam: Yes I did. Now we can have Rod in a spandex outfit and a cape, or maybe an action figure of him and a tattoo, a motorbike, and lots of hot chicks for him too!
Rod: Um, yes thank you Adam! That’s quite enough thank you! Yes he fixed my reputation this time!
Ulrich: Good. I’m glad to hear it.
Andrew: Hey, since we rewritten the past, shall we see if that movie we watched changed?
Kiki: It’s worth a try.
The 5 friends watched the same movie they watched earlier, and it showed Rod as a much braver, courageous and heroic character, and Rod was much more satisfied.
Rod: Now that’s more like it!
Adam: We like you like that Rod.
Rod: Thanks for fixing me buddy!
Adam: No problem!
And they continued enjoying the movie, while Ulrich and the maidens unlock the next fandom.
I'm back in the game. We now travel to a new fandom and that is Chat Blast. I was originally going to have just Rod appearing but I changed my mind had us all going. Last year, I made Rod out of character and he wasn't happy, so we take a blast to the past and we now try to rectify his reputation. Show the world he's hardcore, not cowardly!
Rod, I hope this is a better version of the previous adventure and I hope you like it.

That was a magnificent blast from the past. Reminds me of how games sometimes insert remakes of past levels from older games. Clever idea, my friend. And thank you very much for this opportunity, buddy. I definitely enjoyed this one a lot more. And I look forward to more of our adventures in upcoming fandoms. Amazing job, Adam!
