Chapter 4: Futuristic times

After taking a trip to the Adamantiums’ past, they now decide to head to the future to see what treats they have for them. The Alanastiums on the other hand were still looking for them and were slowly losing their patience, but focusing on the Adamantiums however, they were heading to the future.

Adam:
One day when I came home at lunchtime I heard a funny noise

Freddie:
Went out to the backyard to find out if it was one of those rowdy boys

Taven:
Stood there was my neighbor called Peter and a flux capacitor

All:
He told me he'd built a time machine like one in a film I've seen yeah, yeah


He said
I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great-granddaughter is pretty fine (Is pretty fine)

Taven:
He took me to the future in the flux thing and I saw everything

Freddie:
Boy bands and another one and another one and another one

Adam:
Triple breasted women swim around town totally naked

All:
We drove around in the time machine like one in a film I've seen Yeah, yeah

He said

The Adamantiums had made it to about 20 years above the present year. They were in the city of Artville to see that it was looking very futuristic and high tech.

Peach: Wow! Look at Artville!

Adam: I just hope I’m still mayor.

Freddie: Well why don’t we go to the mayor’s office and see?

So the Adamantiums flew to the mayor’s office in the heart of the city and it was still looking as grand as ever. They flew inside and were very relieved to see that Adam is still the mayor of Artville. They saw him in his office where he appeared to be in his 40s.

Taven: Look at that, you’re still mayor even after 20 years, and it looks like you will age well too Adam.

Adam: Indeed I will.

Jennifer: I wonder what the future will lie ahead for us.

Freddie: I don’t suppose I’ll have much of one. I would probably return to Heaven, either that or living with Adam like I do now.

Adam: Let’s check them out anyway.

Adam drove the time machine to see the different fandoms future.

He took them to the Power Rangers fandom, and were quite surprised to see Rita’s appearance is much different to her usual form. She doesn’t possess the crazy hairstyle she is known for having, but looks more like that of a green palate swap of Divatox, but without her mask. Adam wasn’t too keen on this appearance unfortunately.

Adam: Oh Rita, what have they done to you?

Rita: My appearance might have changed, but I’m sure I’ll be the same old witch you know me as.

Adam: I will admit, while I’m not fussed on the new green Rita, I’ll still see that film. It does look quite enticing.

Jennifer: What do you think of that form Rita?

Rita: It’s alright, but I think I should have kept my signature hair.

Adam: Yeah. Maybe I’m not too fussed on it because of the removal of the hair. If she had the hair, maybe I would have liked it better. Other than that, it looks like a good film.

Jennifer: Let’s go and see the other’s futures. Hopefully ours will be really cool!

So Adam drove the time machine to see what the other Adamantiums’ futures will hold.

Meanwhile, the Alanastiums were still in the past, travelling to different time periods and were still having no luck in finding the Adamantiums.

Alan: Where are those good for nothing Adamantiums?! We searched through every period and not a trace of them, not even in those good for nothing childhoods of theirs!

Jessica: Maybe they aren’t even in the past. They’ll probably be somewhere in the future.

Quan Chi: Finally! We can get out of the past! It was getting real boring! It was like being in some dumb history classroom!

Wario: Before we find them Alan, can I see if I become the richest man in the whole wide world, knowing me?

The Mask: And can I see if I can achieve my goal in killing the coward who called me a childhood fear?

Alan: *sighes* Alright! If we must! But we’re making it quick!

The Mask: Alllllrighty then!!

The Alanastiums were making their way to the future, to see theirs before they hunt for the Adamantiums, though against Alan’s will.

Back with the Adamantiums, they travelled to the different futures they have. They even travelled to the Bendigedig Kingdom to see the future of the two prince brothers. Xander moved out to another kingdom because he found a lovely princess from the kingdom. The two got married and had a daughter. Ulrich remained in his kingdom. He too met a princess, married her and had a son. The Adamantiums were very pleased for the two prince brothers for finding love and having children.

Taven had become the god of light and protector of Edenia, just like his ending in Mortal Kombat 2012. Peach is still as beautiful as ever but never again was she ever touched by Bowser or his koopa troop. She taught him a painful lesson when he tried to kidnap her or force marriage on her. Jennifer’s organisation has retired but still holds her electric powers not only for defending San Fransisco but also fixing electrical problems and helping her home and friends save money on their electricity bills. Freddie requested not to because he didn’t think he would have much of a future because he is dead and it would seem pointless, so they travelled to Adam’s future again, and it was looking very bright indeed.

Adam saw that in his real life world, he got himself a career in the world of theatre and TV. He became a very highly paid actor and singer. He starred in many theatre productions from musicals to pantomimes and got lots of money for it. His 2 theatre groups always made sure he got a part because of how talented he was.

Not only that, but in Artville, there was a very pleasant surprise at his Artville home. Inside the house, the futuristic Adam returned home to be greeted by 3 young boys and 3 young girls, who gave him a hug. Future Adam was also greeted home by a futuristic version of Sabrina. The Adamantiums discovered a picture on their wall to see that Adam and Sabrina had got married. They were also amazed to see that Adam has become a father of 6 children. The boy in the red shirt and looks most like Adam’s name is Jason. The boy with the yellow shirt’s name is Mike, the boy in the purple shirt’s name is Maurice, the girl in the red dress’ name is Rita, the girl that looks most like Sabrina’s name is Jessica and the girl in the green shirt’s name is Penelope.

Freddie: Wow! Adam, it looks like you are going to make a great father to those kids.

Adam:  I know. I just hope this happens for real. I just hope I would be able to cope if I did have 6 kids. It’s quite a lot.

Jennifer: I’m sure you would manage.

Freddie discovered he did have a future after all. His ghost was still living with Adam and would occasionally visit his old band mates. He also protected Adam and Sabrina’s kids when the two were away.

Freddie: Oh I’m still around even after 20 years. That works out well.

Meanwhile, The Alanastiums requested to see their future, although it was against Alan’s will as he was more focused on trying to find the Adamantiums and attempting to trap them. The futures were not what they expected or hoped. Wario found himself trapped in prison for his greed. Quan Chi and Daegon’s endings from Mortal Kombat 2012 became canon and Jessica’s organisation has become dissolved for good and nothing could be done to revive it. The Mask was next to see his future.

The Mask: Wow. Talk about sucky futures!

Wario: This better not happen if the world knows what’s good for them!

The Mask: Alllrighty then Alan, I’m next! Let’s see what my future holds! Do I kill the little coward? Is my reputation restored?

Alan: Don’t forget, you’re not the only one who wants Ad-dumb dead! Very well, but I want no whinging!

Alan drove the time machine to see the future of The Mask, and like the rest of the Alanastiums, it was not what he expected or hoped. They discovered that the actor who played The Mask, Jim Carrey was surrounded by police officers. One of them, Kurtis Stryker from the Mortal Kombat fandom came out of the police car and aimed his gun at him.

Stryker: FREEZE! And don't even think of being funny!

Jim Carrey raised his arms nervously and in fear.

Jim Carrey: What's going on?

Stryker: Oh don't play innocent with me Bruce Almighty! Some of your movies I'll admit were funny, but one I don't find funny is that when you played that freak with the green face, and what you tried to do to a good friend of mine as him was just deep down low!

Jim Carrey: What?! What are you talking about?

Stryker grabbed Carrey by the arms and handcuffed him. He was going to arrest him.

Stryker: Jim Carrey, I am arresting you on the suspicion of the attempted murder of Adam Hughes. You do not have to say anything but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned, something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say will be written down and will be used in evidence. Do you understand?

Jim Carrey: *nervously* Yes....

Stryker: You may come with me to the station where you will be taken for questioning.

Stryker took Carrey away into his police car and he will be taken into custody and will be questioned regarding his character attempting to kill Adam.

The Mask witnessed his actor getting arrested and was in shock to witness this.

The Mask: Well that was unexpected…

Alan: There you go, you got your crystal balls. Are any of you happy?

All 5: NO!!!

Alan: Good! Now to find that pathetic Adam! Now where would he be?

Daegon: Maybe you could check his future. Surely that is what he would be doing right now.

Alan: You know, I think you’re right!

Alan then travelled to Adam’s bright future. Seeing that Adam has married Sabrina and became a devoted father.

Alan: Oh the devil take it! What horrible brats!

As Alan shown disgust at Adam’s kids, Wario noticed the Adamantiums time machine.

Wario: Hey, look! That must be them!

Daegon: Heh, and just look how pathetic their time machine looks!

Alan: At last! We finally found them! Say your prayers Adamantiums!

The Adamantiums were about to travel to another part of the futuristic Artville until they noticed the strange time machine that belonged to Alan.

Peach: What is that on the sofa?

Freddie: It looks like another time machine.

Adam: I just hope it’s not who I think it is.

Alan: FIRE!!!

The Alanastiums fired their missiles at Adamantiums, and the Adamantiums made a quick getaway before the missiles home on them.

Adam: I knew it! It’s the Alanastiums! They followed us here!

The Adamantiums fled from the homing missile attempting to get away from them, but Alan fired more and more to ensure they don’t get away.

Taven: This is getting too dangerous! We need to go back to the present immediately!

Adam pressed the yellow button and automatically began to return to the present just before the missiles could get them, and that has left the room in an explosive mess.

Jessica: Dammit! They got away! Curse those Adamantiums!

Quan Chi: NOOOOOOOOOOOO FAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mask: My ears!

Wario: You don’t even have any!

Alan: Wait! Maybe it doesn’t matter that they got away. I have another plan!

Alan smirked and chuckled sinisterly as he hatched another plan.

The Adamantiums returned to the BUMP lab where they set off their journey.

Ivy: Oh you came back. How was your time travelling adventure?

Adam: It went great, until the end.

Peach: We started off seeing our own personal past and then our futures. We discovered Adam in his future is going to be a father of 6.

Adam: It was all going great until somehow the Alanastiums came out of nowhere and start attacking us.

Ivy: How do you know it was the Alanastiums that were attacking you? You didn’t travel to their futures did you?

Jennifer: No we didn’t. We were still in Adam’s future until they invented a time machine of their own and attacked us with homing missiles and forcing us to return to the present.

Adam: And just in time too. Had we got hit, we would have been trapped.

Taven: I just hope your kids will be alright Adam.

Ivy: I would suggest that you return to the future immediately to see if those kids are alright.

Adam: But what if we get attacked again?

Ivy: You may have to bear with me. I will be working on the time machine to see if I can install a defence mechanism to it.

Rita: How long will that take?

Ivy: I do not know. I will work on it as soon as I can.

Adam: Well please try and not take too long. I don’t want anything bad to happen to those kids.

Ivy: I will do my best Adam.

The Adamantiums went outside and were worried what will become of Adam’s future children. Hoping that Ivy won’t take too long installing the defence mechanisms to the time machine.
