Mortal Kombat 2012

Chapter 3: The City

Adam went back to base where Sauria, Sonya and Jax were, telling them he rescued someone who was lost in an arctic tundra and kidnapped by 2 brainwashed ninjas but rescued them, and they were pleased with him.

The next day, Adam and Sauria's special forces training were done and they now have a day off. Adam and Sauria went on the helicopter to fly around the USA for last minute fun stuff before they return home. They decided to go for a special lunch to reward themselves for the hard work they done.

Adam and Sauria flew in the helicopter, but down below, they can see a city catching fire.

Sauria: Adam, look!

Adam: This doesn't look good. We better go and see what is going on here.

Adam flew the helicopter to the city to see what was going on. They landed to a nearby bridge and they started to explore what was going on.

Adam: Let's separate. Let me know if you find anything unusual.

Sauria: Gotcha!

The city was in complete chaos. Adam looked around and it was completely wrecked. Glass was smashed, buildings catching fire, thugs and burglars running amok, police officers were fighting monsters and were not succeeding, innocent people were running away, frightened.

Adam: How did this city get so bad?

There were two burglars nearby wearing black balaclavas talking to eachover. Adam hid himself to make sure they don't see him.

Thug 1: Heh heh! Good thing now that Stryker is gone.

Thug 2: Yeah! Now that he's nothing but a zombie, we can steal some things for the black dragon clan!

The two thugs laugh and run off.

Adam: Another Quan Chi slave? And it appears he works for the police. I wonder if he has been controlled into commiting crimes. They must be serious and impossible. I better find him before he commits anymore.

A gunshot was heard behind Adam and a burglar alarm begins to go off. A zombie resembling a policeman who was rather muscular, had a black hat with the "S.W.A.T" logo on it, a t-shirt and a belt full of police weapons came smashing out the shop window with a bag full of goods. He laughed maliciously as he successfully stole many goods without anyone stopping him and ran off.

Adam: I knew it! I better stop him!

Adam began chasing after the zombie cop and began to notice him.

Adam: Hey you! Drop what you stole at once!

Zombie Stryker: Never! By order of Quan Chi! These goods goes to the black dragon clan, the red dragon clan and the Deadly Alliance! *he realises he is Adam Legend* Wait a minute, you're Adam Legend aren't you? You broke our spell on former slaves, and now, you shall suffer! FIGHT!  

KOMBAT BATTLE: Adam Legend VS Zombie Stryker

Adam defeats the zombie policeman. A ball of light shines above Adam and flies straight to him, restoring him back into a human. The policeman collapsed, and very confused how he came back to life.

Stryker: Aw man, what's going on? What's happened to the city, and what is that in my hand? And who are you?

Adam: Don't be alarmed sir. I am Adam Legend. You were killed once, and you came back as a slave to Quan Chi, and ever since, it made you commit serious and impossible crimes.

Stryker: Really?

Adam: I'm afraid so sir.

Stryker: Oh my god! I am actually supposed to fight crime! I can't believe I've been commiting crimes! How long have I been doing it?

Adam: For a year.

Stryker: A year? Well thanks for bringing me back to my senses, I am Kurtis Stryker by the way, but feel free to call me just Stryker.

Adam: Ok Stryker. Now that you're back, shall we go back to fighting crime?

Stryker: Yeah, you bet!

With Stryker back and Adam helping him, fighting crime and restoring the city will be much easier, but just when Adam and Stryker were about to fight thugs and arrest them, Quan Chi appeared.

Quan Chi: How dare you make me lose more slaves! Nobody frees slaves from me!

Quan Chi summoned a horde of undead skeletons to attack Adam and the newly restored Stryker. There were millions.

Quan Chi: Get them!

Adam & Stryker fought the undead Quan Chi summoned. They were outnumbered, but certainly not outmatched. They killed them all by shockwaves, fireballs, guns and grenades and there were no more left.

Adam: Is that all?

Stryker: Yeah! That was just too easy!

Quan Chi: Oh don't you worry you two, I have a lot more for you! Kabal!

A zombie wearing a mask emerged from the ground.

Stryker: Kabal?

Zombie Kabal: You called Master?

Quan Chi: Cease that human Edenian!

Stryker raised his pistol and aimed it at Kabal.

Stryker: Don't make me give you police brutality on you Kabal, because I will!

Adam: Leave this to me Stryker! Only I can take care of this!

KOMBAT BATTLE: Adam Legend VS Zombie Kabal

Adam defeats Kabal and with another ball of light, it restores Kabal back to his original state. Kabal took a deep breath from his respirator and felt confused.

Kabal: *groans* What's happening? Where am I?

Adam: We will explain in a minute.

Stryker: You just lost another slave punk!

Quan Chi: This is not over Adam Legend!

Quan Chi disappears, swearing vengeance on Adam Legend.

Kabal: What's going on?

Adam: You were killed, and you came back as a slave to the villainous Quan Chi.

Kabal: Really? And I was doing so well. I was once a member of the black dragon clan, and then I left and started to redeem myself. I can't believe I went back to being evil again.

Adam: Well don't you worry, you're back now so you can redeem yourself again.

Kabal: Well I'm happy to know that.

Suddenly a horde of thugs began to attack. They were not happy that Adam has restored Stryker, so they were attacking them.

Thug 1: Why did you have to come back!

Thug 2: Who the hell do you think you are? Jesus?!

Thug 3: This is all your fault!

Thug 4: We're gonna fucking kill you for this!

Kabal had an idea to get rid of the thugs attacking Adam and Stryker. After taking another deep breath from his respirator, Kabal removed his mask, which revealed a horribly disfigured face and screamed at the thugs. Kabal's freaky face frightened the thugs into running away, however, Adam and Stryker see his horribly freaky face and were shocked at the sight.

Adam: Holy Shit!

With the thugs running away like cowards and Adam and Stryker left shocked, Kabal put his mask back on and felt proud of himself.

Stryker: Dude….

Kabal: Cool huh?!

Adam: Well, it's certainly a good way of getting rid of those thugs that attacked us….

The 3 heroes decided to ride a nearby unused police car which Stryker will drive and will go to a nearby coffee shop that is undamaged and safe.
